Steadied the shot — jitter 5.88px, over the 1.5px threshold, down to 3.77px.
Skipped denoising — noise sigma 0.32, under the 2.0 threshold.

No usable speech in this clip — so it's being cut on what it looks like

Whisper found 0 words across 45 seconds, under the 5-word / 2-second threshold. Rather than guessing at captions, the picker chose the strongest 7-second window on visual interest — sharpness, motion, clipping and exposure deviation — scoring 1.77.

One non-speech marker dropped: “(wind blowing)”. That's never a caption.

One export didn't reach the quality bar, so it's being re-rendered

The TikTok version came back at VMAF 91.4 against our floor of 95 — visible softening in the fast pan at 0:04. It's re-encoding at a higher bitrate now, about 40 seconds. The other four passed and are ready.

You haven't been charged. A gate failure never costs credits.

You're out of generation credits until 1 October

Editing still works — all of it. Cutting, captions, reframing, grading, audio and every export stay unlimited on your plan and always will. What's paused is the generated half: AI voice, avatar minutes and website-to-film.

We can't read that file — it's ProRes RAW

The container opened but the video stream is ProRes RAW, which needs a licensed decoder we don't ship. Everything else about the file is fine: 3840×2160, 24fps, 2 audio channels, 4m12s.

Export a ProRes 422, H.264 or HEVC version and it'll go straight through. Most cameras and NLEs do this in one step.

Connection dropped — the upload is paused, not lost

68% of workroom-03.mov is already on our side. It resumes from there the moment you're back; nothing re-uploads and nothing is wasted.

Your finished exports are cached on this device and still play.

Autopilot

Every brand posts every day. You approve.

Give a brand a niche and its posting times. Each slot it picks a fresh story nobody else on your account has used, makes the video and the carousel, writes a caption for each platform with every number checked against the story, and waits here. Turn review off once you trust a brand.

  1. Picks a storynewest from the brand's feeds, never one another brand used
  2. Makes itexplainer video and/or carousel, same checked script
  3. Captions itTikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Shorts — numbers checked, source credited
  4. You approveor edit a caption, post now, or skip it

Autopilot runs on the server. Log in on a connected server to add brands, connect each brand’s TikTok, Instagram & Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn with their own sign-in pages, and see the queue. Nothing posts until an account is connected and you’ve approved it.

Let your agents do the editing.

Everything the app does is an HTTP call — upload a clip, talk to the editor, render, export an edit. An agent can drive all of it with one key, and the price comes back before any work runs.

Checking for a server…

</> REST API

Upload, chat, plan, render and export. Every call in the example below exists on the server and is tested — which is also how any agent drives it: Claude, a GPT or your own script all speak HTTP. Plans are JSON, and checking one costs nothing.

The price comes back before the work starts. A cut is quoted when it’s queued and charged only if it finishes and passes its quality gate. Timeline exports are always 0 credits.

API keys

Keys live on the server. None exist on this page.

A new key is shown in full once. Rotate by creating a new one and revoking the old.

In the appfree

Cutting, captions, reframing, grading and export never cost anything — on every plan, including Free. That is the whole editor, and it stays free.

Through the APIper request

What an API is, if you’ve not used one. It’s the same Picture Lock, without the screen. Instead of you clicking, your own software — or an AI agent — asks for the thing and gets it back. One video, one request. Useful when you want a hundred of something, or want it to happen at 3am while you’re asleep.

You pay per request, and only for what you ask for. The editor stays free either way — the same line DaVinci Resolve draws, where the editor is free and driving it from a script is the paid part.

Plans

Editing is unlimited. You only ever pay for what's generated.

Cutting, captions, reframing, grading, audio and exports cost nothing on every paid plan and always will — they cost us pennies. Credits buy the expensive half: news explainers, AI presenters, voice, website-to-film.

Checkout isn’t live. Nothing on this page takes a card or charges you. Plans and prices are provisional.

Deliberately worse value per credit than the plan that would cover the same usage — so the plan is always the better deal and nobody ends up farmed by a meter.

Styles

Every way a short can be made — and which ones render today.

A style is the whole recipe: how it opens, how often it cuts, what the captions do, whether there’s music. Eight render in the app now. The rest are either built as their own tools or on the way — each is labelled, so you never pick one that can’t be made.

See it move

The graphics are the hard part. Press one and watch.

One 8-second clip. One brief — “make it a reel people finish: a hook, graphics on the key words, big captions.” Only the style changed. Every frame below came out of the renderer, and the words on screen are the words that were actually said.

Graphics are only drawn over words the transcript contains — the engine will not invent a figure to put in a box.

Loading the measured library…

Learn from a video

Paste a video you like and keep how it was made.

It pulls out the mechanics — cut rate, hook shape, caption treatment, pacing, music under the voice — never the video itself. Learned styles are saved to your account and the renderer cuts with them directly — the more references you add, the sharper the style gets.

Hook engine

Openers that already earned their score.

Written against what actually performs, scored out of ten, filed by niche and by the edit the first two seconds need. Pick one and it writes itself into the cut.

Planner

A week of videos, written for your business.

Tell it what the business is. It writes five opening lines, each built a different way, and gives each a style that renders today. Every one is a 9:16 vertical, so it posts anywhere you post. Make this starts the video with that brief. Planning is free; each video costs a render when you make it.

One or two sentences, with the details only you could say. Nothing is invented from outside them.

Documentary trailer

Nothing is posted for you. The planner writes and you decide what gets made.

Your voice

Read one line, then keep talking.

The narration in your videos can be your own voice. It takes one recording — the permission line first, then you talking normally for ten seconds or so. That second part is what gets cloned.

Recordnot started

Read this out loud, word for word, then keep talking:

Loading the phrase…

After the line, say anything — what you had for breakfast, what your business does. Ten seconds is plenty. Speak the way you would in a video.

Your voices

None yet.

The libraryApache‑2.0

Connect a server to see which voices are on your plan.

The rules
  • It has to be you. The permission line names the date and has to be in the same recording as the sample. We cannot accept a voice sample on its own, and that is deliberate.
  • Delete it whenever you like. Removing a voice deletes the recording and the permission record together. Nothing keeps a copy.
  • It never leaves for a third party. The cloning runs on our own machines, on an open-source model.
Brand kit

You decide it. The editor follows it.

Start from your website if you like — it reads the page for a name and colours — then change anything. Saving makes a new version; old versions are kept, so a kit never changes under a video you already made.
